Where is my package?

After your order you will receive a track & trace code so you can easily follow your package.

My order is delayed or lost, what now?

Send us an email with your order number to info@dehondenbakkerij.nl. We'll be happy to help you resolve this quickly.

What are the shipping costs?

Within the Netherlands and Belgium, we charge €4.95 shipping per order. Shipping is free for orders of €50 or more .

How quickly will my order be delivered?

Orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. Custom-made products, such as cakes or gift sets, have a delivery time of 5-7 business days.

Can I change my shipping address?

Please contact us as soon as possible at info@dehondenbakkerij.nl. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll be happy to update the address.

Which countries do you ship to?

We currently ship within the Netherlands and Belgium.

Returns

Can I return my order?

Only accessories can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unopened and undamaged. Snacks and treats cannot be returned for food safety reasons.

How do I request a return?

Send us an email with your order number to info@dehondenbakkerij.nl. We'll send you return instructions.

When can I expect my refund?

After receiving and approving your return, we will refund the purchase amount within 5–7 business days.

Products & Food Safety

Are De Hondenbakkerij snacks safe for dogs?

Yes, absolutely. Our treats are specially developed for dogs and contain only dog-safe ingredients. We avoid harmful additives like sugar, salt, or chocolate. Our recipes are tested on multiple dogs to ensure safety, digestibility, and taste. Your dog's health is always our top priority.

How long do the snacks last?

Our durable snacks have a shelf life of 2–6 months in a sealed container, provided they are stored in a cool, dry place.

Fresh products, such as cakes and cupcakes, have a shorter shelf life and always have a clear best-before date.

Are the products suitable for all dogs?

Yes, our snacks are suitable for all dogs. For puppies and small breeds, we recommend breaking the snacks into smaller pieces.

How many snacks can my dog ​​have per day?

Each product includes a nutritional guide detailing the average amount a dog can eat, depending on its size and weight. Treats are always intended as a supplement to a dog's daily diet, not as a replacement.

Do you also offer custom work?

Yes, we make custom-made celebratory cakes and luxury gift sets. These can be ordered through our webshop and customized entirely to your wishes.

Gifts & Experiences

Can I also have an order sent as a gift?

Yes, that's possible! At De Hondenbakkerij, we carefully wrap every package as if it were a gift. This makes unwrapping a special occasion for both dog and owner. Would you like a personal card included? Just let us know when you place your order, and we'll take care of the rest.

About The Dog Bakery

Can I also buy the products physically?

Our products are currently available exclusively online. We're also working on opening a physical store in Rotterdam, where you'll soon be able to find our full range.

Do you work with any charities?

Yes, for every Advent calendar sold, we donate a gift package to the animal shelter. We're also constantly looking for ways to support dog-related initiatives.
